This was a very special project in the newly revamped area of Kings Cross in 2015. Simon was approached by a private client to renovate and increase the floorspace of an existing detached, extremely narrow, 4 storey house in Kings Cross. The project involved gaining planning approval to create a rear extension, extend the basement and add a further storey. Cherished by local residents and tourists alike, the house was deemed of special interest in the Bloomsbury Conservation Area so the challenge was to extend it sensitively to enhance the existing building and gain approval from the planners and locals. Working closely with clients who themselves work in the design and film industry led to a stand-out, unique, beautiful home in the heart of Kings Cross.
